Our grandfather, Ambrose Capone, came to the US in 1918 from Italy at the age of 16. He worked in many contracting capacities and decided to start his own landscaping company in Wakefield, MA in 1946. He started with a push mower, hand clippers, a rake and a barrel.

In 1968 our father, Frank Capone, Sr., took over the business and grew the business to more than 200 customers.

In 2001 Frank Capone, Jr. took the helm and we now have over 400 properties that we service.

We enjoy giving back to the Town of Wakefield. Below you can see The Rockery in downtown Wakefield. We have been maintaining this property at no charge for many years now. We also donate our labor and materials to maintain the Prospect Street and North Avenue island areas.
